New law · AB 2313

PG&E may pay you to go electric instead of replacing your gas line.

California's Home Energy Choice Act (AB 2313) was signed on September 30, 2026. By January 1, 2028, PG&E must offer certain residential customers whose gas service line is due to be replaced a money incentive to stop gas service and go electric instead.

Going fully electric means your gas service ends, so your panel, circuits and appliances need to handle heating, hot water and cooking on electricity. That is the work we plan and coordinate.

Not decided yet: the amounts, exactly who qualifies, and how to enroll. We won't quote a number until there is one.
